Wish List for Funds
There is the opportunity to make a donation towards a specific area of our work.
- Provide portable hoists for use by disabled skiers within a resort for easy transfer from wheelchair to bed or ski.
- Help provide further specialist ski equipment
- A short DVD film of Ski 2 Freedom made with the collaboration of other disabled snow-sport organizations and participants to promote the activities and the benefits that they bring.
- Over the course of the past winter we have received a number of requests as to where people can hire a piece of specialist equipment. Winter 2008 / 09 saw the introduction by France of a short training session for parents and friends of disabled children and adults so that they can have the complete family experience whilst on holiday. However finding the equipment to hire is and will remain for the next couple of years very difficult. Ski 2 Freedom would like to purchase some sit-skis and equipment of its own, which could be used by members of the Foundation and other disabled people during their mountain visit. If you would like to contribute to this we would be delighted to receive your donation.
