Christmas Bazaar 2009 Rheindahlen Military Complex, Germany - Donation to Ski 2 Freedom received from Multi-National Charity Fund
Ski 2 Freedom Foundation is delighted and honoured to have been among a group of charitable organisations benefiting from funds raised at the Christmas Bazaar held in Rheindahlen, Germany.
Enabling children with a disability, special need or life-threatening illness to enjoy the snow and activities offered in the mountains is one of Ski 2 Freedom’s primary aims. This donation will help towards our projects specifically working with families within the Armed Services.
The Director of Ski 2 Freedom, Catherine Cosby, is a member of the UK Forces Additional Needs and Disability Forum. Her daughter Alexandra (Rett Syndrome) benefited enormously from the SSAFA Forces Help holidays organised for children with a disability or special need whose parents are serving in the Armed Services. A winter activity holiday is being discussed and donations such as that received from the Multi-National Charity Fund Christmas Bazaar will help enormously towards realising this project.
