Summer disabled mountain activities
The mountains and alps in summer are incredibly easy to access in the summer months - in fact from May until the end of October there is such an extensive range of activities and enjoyment to be had. Nothing can be more spectacular than being amongst the vibrant and changing colours of the spring and summer flowers, walking or wheeling around the pastures with the cows munching and bells ringing, eating delicious food on the terraces of the Alpine restaurants or savouring a picnic by the cool waters of the mountain lakes...............
A holiday in the French or Swiss mountains during the summer is not to be missed and one ideally suited to all disabilities and special needs - in fact access is probably easier for a lot of people.
Why not play golf, walk, mountain bike, VTT, use your mobility scooter to explore the many villages and tracks.... swim in the crystal clear mountain lakes or even ride a donkey on an adventure high up in the Alps sleeping in one of the many refuges............
