Tandemski
In use in many ski resorts, the Tandemski allows everybody including
severely physically disabled or very fragile people, to enjoy skiing
in total safety. The skier can enjoy-with his friends-the ski slopes and mountain scenery
Installed in articulated skates adjustable in length to fit any shoes
and which are used as brakes, the pilot can carve out perfect turns
with the edge of each ski when tilting the handlebar. Therefore, he
can let his passenger discover a huge number of tracks, moving
around as a skier even on busy slopes.
The seated skier is comfortably settled down in a bucket seat which
offers a good support increased by an adjustable harness.
To keep warm, it’s possible to use our anti-cold cover and special
mittens
Thanks to a patented system the passenger can easily use chairlifts
in complete safety, staying in the Tandemski during the ascent.
If the pilot, who is linked by a rope, should fall, a safety brake
stops automatically the Tandemski. This system is mainly used as
a parking brake.
The latest Tandemski generation is equipped with the new
locking system for the chairlift position, with an improved
edging mechanism, with a silentblock in front of the binding to
improve the passenger’s comfort and the ski’s life span.
A special training is necessary to use the Tandemski. Training
is open to everybody: mountain specialists, people working in the
medico-educational sector and families of disabled people
